Summary of Payment Specialist Responsibilities
- Fully versed in Script Knowledge
- Exceptional Portal Understanding
- Navigate patient through the education of their healthcare and payment arrangements
- Listen attentively to patient for clues to set them on a plan that meets their household budget
- Personal Accountability for Document Signing for all Payment Plans
- Review of Patient file informant – proof reading for accuracy and errors
- Provide accurate and thorough notes in our Portal
- Maintain the confidentiality of patient data in accordance with HIPAA
- Provide open feedback on process improvement ideas
- Represent FinPay in a professional manner at all times
Qualifications
- Passed Chair and Written Test, minimum 30 days in Current Role
- Understanding in Good Client Working Relationships
- Excellent Script Knowledge
- Proficient in Portal Understanding
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly Organized
- No Formal Active Disciplinary Plans
