Summary of Payment Specialist Responsibilities

  • Fully versed in Script Knowledge
  • Exceptional Portal Understanding
  • Navigate patient through the education of their healthcare and payment arrangements
  • Listen attentively to patient for clues to set them on a plan that meets their household budget
  • Personal Accountability for Document Signing for all Payment Plans
  • Review of Patient file informant – proof reading for accuracy and errors
  • Provide accurate and thorough notes in our Portal
  • Maintain the confidentiality of patient data in accordance with HIPAA
  • Provide open feedback on process improvement ideas
  • Represent FinPay in a professional manner at all times


Qualifications

  • Passed Chair and Written Test, minimum 30 days in Current Role
  • Understanding in Good Client Working Relationships
  • Excellent Script Knowledge
  • Proficient in Portal Understanding
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly Organized
  • No Formal Active Disciplinary Plans
